IKEA kitchen assembly and installation
Assembling IKEA kitchen takes some effort, but installing and leveling it to perfection in 120 years old Andelsbolig apartment is yet another level of complexity.
The clients moved into an 120 years old Andelsbolig apartment in Copenhagen. The existing kitchen was not as dated, but it for sure needed a refresh.
Previous kitchen:
Previous kitchen was dissassembled and removed - that included old cabinets and equipment, but also flooring and tiling. Here is how it looked before:
New kitchen assembly:
All visible parts of the wall have been finished with microcement. Each cabinet had to be customized to make it fit in the limited space while retaining the functionality of the cabinet inserts. Oak wood countertops have been cut and joined to make them fit the specific depth and width.
